We are dedicated and passionate about all animals. We have many years of dog and cat care experience and we’re dedicated to ensuring that your pets are cared for like they are our own. We will always go above and beyond because we love what we do.
We are Pet First Aid and CPR certified for the added safety of your pets. We are licensed, bonded and fully insured.

Do you meet my pet before beginning a service?
Absolutely! We schedule an appointment to meet you and your pet at your home. You get to see how we interact with your pet as we want you to feel completely comfortable and confident that your pet is in good hands. There is absolutely NO FEE for this consultation meeting and no obligation to book our services. If you decide to hire us to look after your pet, you will be asked for a copy of your house key and to complete a few standard forms.

What areas do you provide services?
West End Dog provides services within west Mississauga and east Oakville, Ontario. This location stretches east to west from Mississauga Road to Trafalgar Road, and north to south from the QEW to Lake Ontario. Please see our Location page for a map of our current service area.

I have a senior dog who can’t walk very far. What can you do for her?
If you have a senior or disabled dog who needs some extra attention and more frequent bathroom breaks but is not able to do a full walk, we offer bathroom break and/or play sessions in your yard or nearby greenspace.

My dog is very small and I worry she may get hurt at a dog park. How can you ensure she is safe?
Our priority is to keep your pet safe and secure at all times.  We offer exclusively private one-on-one dog walks, unless, of course, they’re siblings, in which case we would gladly walk them together. We offer either 15 or 30 minute walks of engaging attention and exercise.

How and when do I pay?
We will issue an invoice at the end of the week of services and ask that you pay by the end of the following week. We take cash or email money transfers.
